Welcome to Tea, Book & Me.

Tea, Book & Me (1)

This is a blog dedicated to young adult (YA) books, but sometimes I also review new adults and middle school fictions. On this blog, you can expect to find a lot of book reviews, bookish memes and the worries and joy of being a book blogger.

Who am I?

Why I love YA so much?

I love reading YA novels because I can relate to the protagonists and the struggles they face in the novel (doesn’t matter what genre) often parallel my struggles in real life, i.e. identity crisis.

Reading YA is my escapism from the reality. I thoroughly enjoy reading about how various protagonists overcome their weakness. Perhaps it’s because reading YA novels gives me the strength and motivation to solve my own problems in real life.

  2. *Just imagine an Asian girl with long straight black hair, sitting at one of the library’s aisles, holding a book up close, and sneakily munching away her favourite chocolate hazelnut.* and “on Internet I’m a stalker” wow I feel like you just described me right here. haha and the stalking is so bad on my part (twitter/instagram stalking when I don’t even have an account for either.. shameless) and is clearly evident in my first instinct to click on the About Me page on blogs. 😉 You seem like such a cool person, I’m enjoying all your posts so far!!
